πŸ‘©β€βš–οΈπŸ‘¨β€βš–οΈTo curb this phenomenon, Section 233(1)(b) of the Communication and Multimedia Act 1998 (Act 588) states that any person who initiates a communication with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any person at any number or electronic address commits AN OFFENCE which carries a punishment to a fine not exceeding RM50,000 or imprisonment not exceeding one year, or both.
