'Ainnur Liyana
Ya'akub
"Emulate success.
Then exceed it."
Puan Liyana leads Liyana & Co. with intellectual rigour, strategic clarity, and an empathy she earned the hard way. She is Malaysia's go-to legal authority for business owners and high-net-worth individuals facing complex, high-consequence disputes: defamation, reputation attacks, company law, employment battles, and Muslim estate planning.
Dual qualified as a civil lawyer and a Syarie lawyer practising in Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur since 2015, she moves fluently between the civil courts and the Syariah courts on matters that many firms cannot cover under one roof.
She founded Liyana & Co. in Shah Alam and built it into a firm known for precision, discretion, and results — appearing before the High Court, Sessions Court, and Industrial Court, and engineering the legal infrastructure that protects businesses and legacies long before a dispute ever lands.
She is also the founder of Alyviate™, a business coaching and legal strategy platform for women entrepreneurs and founders, and a PhD candidate at UiTM researching the misattribution of online content.
Outside the practice, she is a wife and a mother, and brings that same fierce protectiveness home into every family estate and inheritance matter she handles. It is one thing to know the law on hibah and faraid. It is another to have sat, as a wife and mother herself, with what a family stands to lose.
Focused expertise, not a generic offering.

The practice she always meant to build. Hers, on her terms.
That range — cashier to claims executive to courtroom to boss lady — is exactly why clients say she gets it. She has stood behind the counter, inside the insurer, and in front of the judge. Few lawyers have seen a dispute from every one of those angles before arguing it.
